Your Day-to-Day

• Evaluate patients and build individualized treatment plans based on physician prescriptions
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and clinical reports accurately and on time
• Coordinate regularly with physicians and the broader care team on patient progress
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and home strategies
• Mentor and direct support staff involved in patient care
• Maintain therapy equipment and help expand speech therapy services
• Participate in in-services, committees, and ongoing professional development
• Provide age-appropriate care across the full patient population

What We're Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Eligible for New York State licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
• 1–2 years of hospital experience preferred
• Able to perform frequent standing and intermittent patient lifting, positioning, or transferring
