Your Day-to-Day
You will assess residents' speech and language needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their goals. You'll design activities that help residents improve independence in their daily routines and monitor their performance, adjusting treatments as necessary and preparing detailed progress reports.
Your role includes assisting in the rehabilitation of residents affected by injury, illness, or other conditions. You'll maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment while ensuring the secure handling of confidential resident information. You will keep accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress, auditing department records as needed. Collaboration is key—you'll work closely with healthcare teams to contribute to a cooperative and supportive care environment.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy Program
- Licensing: Current New York State Speech Language Pathologist License
- Experience: Prior experience is preferred, but CFY candidates are welcome to apply
- Note: Candidates with CCC certification may be eligible for higher salary
