Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with diverse acute and critical conditions
• Perform advanced emergency procedures including intubations, chest tube insertions, and airway management
• Deliver critical care and resuscitation services in high-acuity emergency situations
• Work collaboratively with mid-level providers during peak volume hours
• Manage a variety of emergency cases in a 10,000-volume emergency department
• Utilize Meditech EHR system for accurate patient documentation and care coordination
• Participate in day, night, and weekend shift rotations as part of 12-hour shift schedule
• Maintain quality standards to qualify for performance-based bonus incentives

Qualifications & Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required
• Board certification: ABEM (American Board of Emergency Medicine) certification preferred
• Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM) physicians with extensive emergency medicine experience considered (minimum 3 years with 250 documented emergency case logs within the past year)
• Current certifications required: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support)
• Eligible for North Dakota medical licensure or currently licensed in North Dakota
• Demonstrated proficiency in emergency procedures including resuscitations and advanced airway management
• Experience with Meditech EHR system preferred
• Compassionate, adaptable physician with excellent clinical judgment and ability to handle diverse medical emergencies

Compensation & Benefits

W2 Employee Option:

• Hourly rate: $250/hour base compensation
• Quality bonus: $10/hour (paid quarterly based on performance metrics)
• Annual compensation: Approximately $561,600 (based on 2,160 hours annually, including bonuses)
• Sign-on bonus: $50,000 (forgivable loan structure over 3 years)
