Your Day-to-Day
You'll evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their speech, language, and swallowing needs. You'll deliver engaging therapy sessions that drive real progress in communication and cognitive function.
Your responsibilities include:
- Coordinating audiometric screenings and referrals
- Collaborating with care teams and families to maximize outcomes
- Maintaining accurate progress notes and Medicare documentation
- Attending care planning and interdisciplinary meetings
- Providing in-service education for staff and contributing to program improvement
- Upholding safety standards while delivering care with dignity and respect
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (MA or MS)
- Active New York State SLP license
- ASHA Clinical Competence Certification (CCC)
- Strong communication skills and professional maturity
- Team-oriented mindset and commitment to clinical excellence
