The Opportunity
You'll lead an established outpatient physical therapy department within a physician-owned orthopedic group in suburban Philadelphia. This Physical Therapy Manager position puts you at the center of both clinical care and operational leadership — overseeing departmental performance while maintaining an active patient caseload. If you're an experienced Physical Therapist ready to own the management side without leaving the treatment room, this role delivers that balance.
Why You'll Love This Role
- Monday–Friday schedule with standard clinic hours — no weekends
- $1,750 annual CME/CEU allowance to support your continued professional development
- 401(k) with employer match up to 4% of annual salary
- Comprehensive benefits: health, dental, vision, life/AD&D, voluntary options, FSA/HSA
- Paid vacation, sick time, and 7 paid holidays
- Growth and advancement opportunities within the organization
- Located in the Philadelphia suburbs with access to top-rated schools, safe communities, and a vibrant regional lifestyle
Your Day-to-Day
- Manage clinic operations including staffing, scheduling, and departmental performance metrics
- Maintain an active outpatient orthopedic caseload — treating musculoskeletal conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and joint disorders
- Supervise physical therapy staff and drive quality improvement initiatives across the department
- Coordinate individualized care plans and collaborate directly with physicians to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor efficiency, patient satisfaction, and clinical quality standards across your team
What We're Looking For
- Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum 5 years of clinical physical therapy experience
- 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
