Your Day-to-Day

  • Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans based on physician orders
  • Provide direct speech therapy to pediatric and adult patients in an outpatient setting
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and techniques
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with policy
  • Participate in departmental initiatives, in-service training, and continuing education
  • Contribute to the development of innovative speech therapy programs and services

What We're Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
  • Eligible for New York State licensure and registration
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain
  • One to two years of hospital-based experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 90 days of hire)
