Production Planner

Responsibilities:

• Must understand the process flow for sheet metal fabrication process.
• To review Drawing and BOM in ERP system.
• To release Work Order & schedule to production and monitor production activities to meet delivery timelines.
• To review BOM & summarize total raw material to purchase.
• Coordinates production daily shipment arrangement to finishing and assembly sites. Communicating timely with Engineering & Doc Con to ensure all document release on time for production activities.
• Plan and review schedules to fully utilize machine capacity and to meet project schedule. Communicate with Purchasing department to resolve potential pull in/push out or raw material related issues.
• Perform Production Schedule Prioritization when needed to meet urgent project schedules.

• To up-date Production Master Plan & OE Summary for all open orders.
• Release Jobs for Job Traveler Printing.
• To process jobs affected by newly released ECN (additional part/qty, reduce qty, delete part, modification, etc...)
• Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
• To comply to all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain / Engineering / Business or equivalent years of related experience.
• Preferably 2-5 years of working experience in planning of welding and sheet metal processes.
• Know ERP and Basic Microsoft Office applications.
