Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities:

1) Develop and optimize manufacturing processes from inception through to start up and buyoff.

2) Ensure manufacturability of engineering designs.

3) Develop and monitor workmanship standards for manufacturing for the purpose improving output quality and efficiency.

4) Establish and maintain routings for manufacturing processes in ERP system.

5) Manage cost and time constraint.

6) Perform risk assessments.

7) Create and maintain process documentation including work instructions, quality visual aids,etc. 

8) Must be able to travel as when required to customer side 

9) Other duties and assignment as instructed by the department head from time to time. 

10) To comply to all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure. 

11) Able to carried out small NPI automation project assembly. (small standalone project)

12) Able to lead a team of technicians for NPI assembly works.

Requirements:

1) Bachelor Degree in any technical field in Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics / Mechantronics Engineering or equivalent experience.

2) Preferably 2 - 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Previous involvement in NPI projects is an added advantage.
