Welding Fitter

Responsibilities

• Independently install and assemble piping process.
• Interpret technical drawings, isometrics, and schematics to determine pipe routing and layout.
• Fit and align pipes using clamps, supports, and measuring tools.
• Perform tack welding or prepare joints for welders.
• Inspect and test piping systems for leaks or alignment issues.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring proper function.
• Follow safety codes and building regulations during installation.
• Other duties and assignments as assigned by superiors from time to time.
• To comply to all requirements of ISO (Inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedures, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.

Requirements

• Certificate/Diploma in Welding Fabrication or equivalent years of related experience.
• Preferably 2 to 5 years working experience in welding.
• Able to perform TIG/MIG/Fluxcored/SMAW welding processes.
