About the job Robotic Welding Technician
Responsibilities
1. Execute production on Robot welding process.
2. Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and optimal performance (wire feed, gas nozzle cleaning, diffuser etc)
3. Assist engineers in robot programming, teaching and minor set-up.
Monitor machine performance and feedback recurring issues to supevisor.
4. Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment efficiency.
5. Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment logs, and spare parts stock.
6. Maintain good housekeeping practices and comply with 5S standards.
7.Identify and report on equipment operating inefficiently, such as pneumatic leaks or excessive energy consumption in robotic idle states.
8. Ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste (e.g., used robotic lubricants, hydraulic fluids, or battery chemicals) in accordance with environmental regulations.
Requirements
1. Certificate, Diploma, or Technical Qualification in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Automation Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or r equivalent years of related experience.
2. Minimum 0 -5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, robotics, automation, or manufacturing environments.
3. Experience in industrial robots, automated systems, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controller), and production equipment is preferred.
4. Experience in semiconductor, electronics, precision engineering, or manufacturing industries is preferred.
5. Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge may be considered.
