Piping Welder

Responsibilities

• Perform standard welding tasks using techniques like TIG, MIG, SMAW, Flux-Cored and stick welding on carbon steel and stainless steel piping process.
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols to understand job specifications.
• Fit and align pipes before welding, ensuring proper joint preparation.
• Conduct basic inspections of welds for quality assurance.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Assist senior welders and supervisors with complex tasks or setups.
• Maintain welding equipment and report malfunctions.
• Other duties and assignments as assigned by superiors from time to time.
• To comply to all requirements of ISO (Inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedures, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Welding Fabrication or equivalent years of related experience.
• Certification under AWS or ASME standards is considered an advantage.
• Preferably 2 to 5 years working experience in piping welding. Able to perform TIG/MIG/Fluxcored/SMAW welding processes.
