Intermediate Accountant

We are recruiting for an innovative tech-savvy Accounting firm based in Earlwood, Sydney, and we can guarantee this is not an average Accounting practice. What You Will Be Doing

As an Intermediate Accountant, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality service to a diverse range of clients across various industries. You will be supported by a progressive team and backed by automated processes and innovative systems. This is your opportunity to do meaningful work that challenges you daily, without the constraints of corporate bureaucracy.

You Might Be the One If

• You communicate clearly and have strong interpersonal skills.
• You have 3-5 years of experience in public practice.
• You are working towards or have commenced your CA/CPA qualification.
• You are confident with cloud-based systems (Xero, MYOB, etc.).
• You thrive in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

In your day-to-day, you will:

Client-Focused Accounting

• Prepare BAS, IAS, and financial statements for a diverse client portfolio.
• Assist with income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts.
• Conduct bookkeeping and reconciliations with precision using cloud-based platforms.
• Liaise with clients to gather information and provide updates.
• Identify opportunities to add value to clients and improve compliance outcomes.

Team Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with Seniors and Managers to complete projects efficiently.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and process improvements.
• Be an active part of the team's development through learning and feedback.
