About the Opportunity

As part of the Farmers team, you'll help clients protect what matters most while learning the business side of insurance from an experienced District Manager.

You'll receive guidance, mentorship, and access to Farmers established training resources designed to help you thrive in sales and leadership.

This campaign includes opportunities for both Protégé development and future agency ownership, with strong support from the district leadership team.

Sales / Protégé Development Path

Ideal for individuals ready to grow their income through insurance sales while developing leadership experience.

Build and manage your own book of business
Engage new and existing clients through calls, referrals, and networking
Offer tailored insurance solutions across auto, home, life, and commercial lines
Access ongoing sales training, marketing support, and mentorship
Develop skills that can lead to agency ownership opportunities

Agency Ownership Path

For entrepreneurial candidates interested in operating their own Farmers agency.

Launch and operate your own agency
Build a team and grow your business
Lead sales, operations, and community engagement
Long-term opportunity to build equity in your business

Candidates pursuing the Agency Owner track must have approximately $100,000 in liquid capital.

Who You Are

Licensed in Property & Casualty (P&C) and/or Life & Health (L&H) in California
Newly licensed or in-progress candidates encouraged to apply
Entrepreneurial mindset and strong work ethic
Confident communicator with a passion for helping others

Compensation & Benefits

Agency Owner Track

1099 Independent Contractor
Commission based income
$100,000+ annual income potential
Subsidized benefits available after agency launch

Protégé Track

Base salary plus commissions
$60,000+ annual earning potential
Mentorship and leadership development
