Provides Lead role in the plasma inspection and Classification Unit. Responsibilities to ensure classification inspectors operations are performed in correct way for all Plasma inspection, scans and removal of unsuitable and incorrect plasma units utilizing the Plasma Logistics System (PLS) to assure consignees receive only the desired units as determined by the plasma planning process for all human blood plasma and to ensure the highest level of compliance.


Internal: Operations and Quality.

External: Consignee, Suppliers, Audits and Regulatory agencies.

Key responsibility

Lead Plasma Inspection and Classification team to ensure compliance, safety, and conformance to procedures as specified by Standard Operating Procedures, cGMP's.

Assure that each production unit, and Disposition lot meet all applicable quality and production requirements and ensure that all Plasma goes to appropriate customers and conformance to procedures as specified by Standard Operating Procedures, cGMP's.

Assure that each individual unit of plasma that is deemed unacceptable for further processing is individually removed, accounted for, and ultimately dispositioned according to documented procedures.

Lead and train all plasma Classification employees in the Plasma Classification Unit. 

Facilitate employee relations, and quality standards to ensure effective work team performance is maintained.

Lead Classification Unit to ensure procedures accurately reflect the processes that are currently being performed.

Partner with a wide variety of internal quality operations, and other Units on a variety of issues.

Work closely with Quality Operations group to evaluate all inspected and classified plasma to determine if it is acceptable, discrepant, or non-conforming.

Academic experience required

At least Technical certificate in science and Health care related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Professional Experience Required

Preferred, a minimum of 1 years of related experience.

Computing Skills

Experience in Microsoft Office applications.

Experience in ERP systems.

Personal Skills
Strong communication skills.
Detail oriented.
Able to organize matters and multi-task.
Work cooperatively with others.

Languages
Written and spoken Basic English and Arabic.
