About the job General Services Manager
Job Objective:
Managing the Corporate & DCs administrative activities related to equipment, reception, office supplies, property safety, cleaning and gardening, communication systems to ensure proper environment for company's operations, according to company guidelines and local staff requirements, and within budget.
Job Description :
Office Administration
· Manage the day-to-day operations of office services to ensure the organization's administrative needs are met. These activities may include copy services, office supplies, administrative assistance, mail and messenger services, fleet management, cleaning, gardening and maintenance services, reception and communication systems.
· Supervise a team of Admins in each company location to ensure compliance with company´s regulations and operations effectiveness.
Fleet & Operations Management
· Oversees and develops short and long-term strategic goals pertaining to the planning, development, design and operational processes for Logistics and Fleet Operations.
· Establishes departmental programs and budgets for the maintenance, replacement, and improvement of materials and equipment.
Inventory Management
· Oversees the development, inspection, and enforcement of the standards by which materials are procured, stored, accounted for, issues, maintained and repaired; creates and reviews bids and specifications; reviews plans and specifications of contractors, and vendors.
EHS
· Ensure compliance with local law, occupational health provided by GEPD to ensure relevant policies are applied.
· Provide support on employee medical issues/restrictions in coordination with HR. Support managers and staff about relevant legislation.
Others
· Liaise with various parties both internal and external on legal, compliance and insurance matters.
· Support Information Technology needs in the office.
· Support Procurement and manage relationships with suppliers.
· Support on training events, when requested.
· Other coordination and support as required
Academic & Professional experience required:
· Bachelor of Business Administration or related degree.
· Minimum 8 years of experience, with some experience in an office management role in a multinational company.
· Health & Safety experience is a plus.
· Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel and MS Word.

· Good written and spoken English and Arabic
