Job Objective

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as a scientific bridge between the pharmaceutical company and the medical community, delivering accurate, unbiased clinical information, supporting evidence-based medicine, and fostering strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to ensure the safe and effective use of therapies without any sales KPIs .Maintain scientific leadership for the GEDP organization in the scientific community though regular communication and medical activities

Key responsibility

  • Scientific Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals.
    • Exchange unbiased scientific and clinical information related to the Grifols Egypt products and therapeutic areas.
    • External medical engagements activities and communication plan for GEPD products in pre-launch phases
  • Medical Education:
    • Provide training and scientific support to internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, regulatory).
    • Support in delivering the scientific presentations /inputs at medical congresses, advisory boards, and investigator meetings.
    • Support for patient engagement activities and projects
    • Support in executing the medical affairs strategy and tactical plan
  • Clinical Support:
    • Support clinical trials by identifying investigators, assisting in site selection, and maintaining communication during trials.
    • Gather clinical insights and feedback from the field to inform research, development, and lifecycle management.
  • Medical Information & Compliance:
    • Respond to unprompted, unsolicited medical inquiries in a compliant, non-promotional manner.
    • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory, legal, and ethical standards.
  • Strategic Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with medical advisors, regulatory, pharmacovigilance, and commercial teams to align field insights with strategy.
    • Contribute to medical strategy planning, publication development, and scientific communication.
  • Real-World Evidence & Insights:
    • Support real-world data generation, medical research collaborations, and patient registries.
    • Translate medical insights into actionable business and R&D strategies

Academic experience required

  • MD , Pharmacist or Dentist

Professional Experience Required

  • Working in pharma industry with experience more than five years in pharmaceutical industry or two years in medical affairs
  • Preferable with experience in rare disease, neurology, and hematology

Computing Skills

  • Advanced for PowerPoint , excel and word
