To oversee the maintenance operations of non-GMP facilities, including offices, administrative areas,
civil maintenance, elevators, handling equipment, plumbing and furniture, ensuring they are safe,
functional, and well-maintained. This role is essential in supporting the overall operational efficiency
of the organization by leading the facilities maintenance team and ensuring compliance with safety and
industry standards.
Environment
Internal and external interactions i.e.: with other departments/divisions, international scope, providers,
customers)
Internal: Leads and supervises the facilities maintenance team, collaborating with other departments
to ensure maintenance activities do not disrupt operations. Works closely with the Manufacturing
Director to align maintenance activities with organizational goals.
External: Coordinates with external contractors, technical services, and third-party agents for
maintenance services and supplies. Engages with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with safety
and industry standards.
Key responsibility
Oversee and ensure timely completion of all maintenance operations for non-GMP areas, including
preventive and corrective maintenance.
Supervise and lead the facilities maintenance team, assigning tasks and providing guidance to ensure
high performance.
Perform regular inspections of non-GMP facilities to identify and address maintenance needs,
ensuring all equipment and systems (e.g., plumbing, civil, elevators) are functioning optimally.
Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the optimal performance of non-GMP facilities.
Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper
storage.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure facilities maintenance activities do not disrupt
operations and align with administrative schedules.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment conditions, and compliance with
safety regulations.
Oversee the work of external contractors, technical services, and third-party agents, ensuring they
meet organizational standards and project requirements.
Academic experience required
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Optional: Certification in SAP-PM or other CMMS.
Professional Experience Required
3+ years of proven experience in facilities maintenance, with hands-on involvement in daily
operations and team coordination.
Strong working knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, civil works, and elevators, with
the ability to troubleshoot and support technical issues effectively.
