About the job Maintenance Lead

Responsible for the maintenance of assigned locations including global maintenance, budget management, and reporting.


Key responsibility

Facilities building maintenance operations and environmental issues.

Ensuring right building maintenance conditions during institutional, corporate, regulatory and other critical visit to the company sites.

Collaborate to align the compliance with local/state/federal regulations, including: OSHA, FDA, ADA, Fire, Building/Safety and Plasma Industry Regulators.

Collaborate on Utilities budgeting and supervise utilities supply installations.

Put preventive maintenance programs in place for the different sites with consistent practices.

Process maintenance requests through maintenance request software (SAP or similar).

Provide reporting of maintenance status requests as required.

Communicate with site management regarding repairs, maintenance, and appearance upgrades.

Source and pre-qualify vendors and contractors for facilities as required.

Manage multiple local contractors to complete work in all sites across the company. Includes managing timeliness and satisfactory completion of work within your scope.

Authorize and negotiate work proposals/estimates with local contractors for facilities.

Approval of contractor/vendor invoices in accordance with Company policies regarding facility issues.

Budgeting, cost control, and supervision of facilities for maintenance operations.

Provide assistance for budgeting and planning as requested.

Coordinate maintenance activities as well as the Refrigeration systems.

Assist with regulatory compliance documentation and processes as requested.

Academic experience required

Bachelor of Science Degree: Engineering or correlated degree.

Knowledge of national building codes. Ability to understand/interpret engineering and construction drawings.

Professional Experience Required

Minimum 6 years of experience in Maintenance.

Minimum 3 years of experience managing maintenance and calibration in industrial, touristic

(hotels, touristic resorts or similar), commercial or institutional building. Medical and

manufacturing facility, (cGMP), experience a plus.

Computing Skills

Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel, MS Word, and industry-standard purchase order

software platforms.

Must be able to read blueprints. Familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Office.

SAP.
