About the role:
We are seeking a high-energy, experienced professional to join us as Assistant Manager – Youth Program. In this role, you will not only oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of our core youth initiatives but also play a pivotal role in donor engagement and CSR partner management. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with both organizational strategic goals and corporate donor expectations.

Key Responsibilities (Project Execution & Strategy):

  • Project Management & Delivery:

    • Oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within the Youth Program portfolio.
    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management.
    • Develop and track comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Team & Stakeholder Management:

    • Lead and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders (e.g., government, corporate sponsors).
    • Manage partner expectations and facilitate effective collaboration to drive project success.
  • Budget & Risk Control:

    • Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
    • Identify potential risks and challenges, developing proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Reporting & Quality Assurance:

    • Provide regular, high-quality project status reports to stakeholders and leadership.
    • Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and organizational goals.
  • CSR & Donor Management
    • Relationship Management: Serve as a key point of contact for corporate CSR partners and institutional donors, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, trust, and retention.
    • Compliance & Reporting: Author and present high-quality, data-driven progress reports, impact assessment documents, and financial utilization certificates (UCs) tailored to CSR compliance mandates.
    • Grant & Proposal Support: Assist senior leadership in drafting compelling proposals, pitch decks, and grant applications to secure renewed or new funding for youth programs.
    • Donor Visits: Organize and facilitate field visits, audits, and engagement activities for CSR committee members and corporate volunteers.
  • Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: 4–6 years of progressive experience in project management. A minimum of 2 years of direct experience handling CSR relations, donor management, or corporate fundraising within the social sector is highly preferred.
  • Sector Knowledge: Proven track record in the Education, Technology, Skilling, or Youth Development sectors.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., MSW, Development Studies, Business Administration, Project Management, Education).
  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
    • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project, Slack).
    • Excellent command over MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint are critical for donor reporting and presentations).
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities; comfort working with high-level corporate executives and CSR heads.
