About the Role

We are seeking a Specialist - MLE to work in close collaboration with the central Multilingual Education team. The role focuses on advancing the organization's agenda by supporting grant development, research, and knowledge dissemination. You will collaborate with internal teams to produce high-quality proposals and thought leadership outputs while contributing to strategic initiatives and field programs as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Grant Development: Lead the development of grant proposals aligned with 2030 goals for Multilingual Education in collaboration with Fundraising, Strategy, and Learning teams. 
• Research & Analysis: Undertake rigorous secondary research to inform high-quality proposals and donor-facing presentations.
• Knowledge Dissemination: Drive the development and coordinated dissemination of academic papers, position papers, strategy documents, and research studies for national and global audiences. 
• Program Support: Support ongoing programs through curriculum development and training, including periodic field visits.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Provide support to various related initiatives, programs, and interventions as required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Education: Master's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, Public Policy, or allied fields. 
• Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of language disadvantages and multilingual education programs.
• Academic Writing: Demonstrated expertise and experience in academic writing, presentations, and publications. 
• Data Management: Ability to manage data and perform detailed analysis.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent speaking and writing skills in both English and Hindi.
• Professional Attitude: A commitment to constant learning, applying rigor, and delivering quality results in a high-pressure, dynamic environment.
