About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and creative Marketing and Communications Manager to lead the development and execution of our communications strategy. This critical role will shape the organizations voice, enhance visibility, and ensure that our research and policy insights reach key audiences across government, philanthropy, academia, and civil society.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Communications & Narrative Building: Lead the creation of a cohesive communications strategy aligned with the organization's vision. You will build a strong narrative positioning the organization as a center of excellence and craft compelling stories for diverse stakeholders.

Brand Visibility & Positioning: Drive brand identity and storytelling across all channels to ensure a consistent public presence. You will also spearhead thought leadership opportunities for senior leadership, including media features and speaking engagements.

Digital Media & Content Strategy: Manage all social media platforms, curate content for the website and newsletters, and maintain the organizations website as a credible knowledge resource.

Knowledge Dissemination: Plan and execute strategies to share research reports and toolkits. You will lead editorial coordination for publications and manage high-impact events such as webinars and report launches.

Media & Public Engagement: Build and manage media relationships to amplify the organization's influence. You will also identify field stories and translate them into engaging case studies or short films.

Internal Systems: Establish content management systems and build internal capacity through templates and messaging toolkits for the wider team.

Experience: 6–8 years of experience in marketing, communications, or brand roles. Experience in the social sector is preferred but not mandatory.

Storytelling: Strong writing skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas into engaging narratives.

Digital Proficiency: Proven experience managing digital platforms and content strategies.

Adaptability: Ability to work comfortably in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.

Mindset: A data-informed approach combined with a strong creative instinct.
