About the role:

We are seeking a passionate and committed Training Manager to strengthen the quality of teaching and learning across our learning centers. This role is vital in building the capacity of teachers and local trainers to prepare students for residential model school entrance exams, such as Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) and Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS).

This position is ideal for an individual with a strong academic background, excellent coaching abilities, and a deep commitment to improving classroom practices and student outcomes within the social sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teacher Training & Academic Support

  • Conduct monthly training sessions for learning center teachers in Mathematics, Hindi, and Reasoning.

  • Enhance teachers' understanding of core concepts, pedagogy, and exam-oriented preparation for residential model school entrance exams.

2. Field Visits & Quality Monitoring

  • Regularly visit field locations to monitor classroom transactions and student learning levels.

  • Observe implementation challenges and identify specific academic and pedagogical support needs for teachers and trainers.

3. Training Design & Improvement

  • Design and modify training modules, practice materials, and support tools based on field feedback and identified needs.

  • Ensure all training content remains practical, relevant, and aligned with student learning requirements.

4. Master Trainer Role

  • Act as a Master Trainer to coach local trainers and learning center teachers.

  • Support local trainers in strengthening their subject knowledge, facilitation skills, and mentoring abilities.

5. Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze academic and program data regularly to provide actionable suggestions for field team improvement.

  • Utilize data and field insights to boost student performance and overall teaching quality.

     

Experience & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Hindi, Social Sciences, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3–8 years of experience in teacher training, academic support, program implementation, or school education.

  • Preference: Prior experience preparing students for competitive exams like JNV, EMRS, or Sainik School is highly preferred.

  • Sector Experience: Experience working with NGOs, government schools, or education-focused social impact organizations is desirable.

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics, Hindi, and Reasoning.

  • Excellent training, facilitation, mentoring, and coaching skills.

  • Ability to observe classrooms, identify gaps, and provide practical academic solutions.

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and suggest program improvements.

  • Willingness to travel regularly to field locations (50–60% travel required).
