Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Strategy & Pipeline Development

  • Develop and manage a robust fundraising pipeline to meet annual organizational targets.

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities across CSR, institutional donors, foundations, and HNIs.

  • Monitor fundraising metrics and pipeline health to ensure progress against established goals.

Prospect Identification & Cultivation

  • Research and qualify new prospects, including foreign foundations and multi-laterals.

  • Lead donor outreach through meetings, presentations, and structured follow-ups.

  • Document relationship history and prospect intelligence for strategic reporting.

End-to-End Fundraising Cycle Ownership

  • Lead donor mapping, engagement strategies, and needs assessments for priority portfolios.

  • Manage proposal development, budgeting inputs, and due diligence documentation.

  • Anchor high-stakes negotiations, agreement closures, and renewal processes.

Donor Relationship & Account Management

  • Maintain high-quality engagement with existing donors to ensure satisfaction.

  • Coordinate responses to donor requests regarding program updates or financial clarifications.

  • Drive renewals and upsell opportunities through evidence-based impact conversations.

Proposal, Reports & Communication

  • Collaborate with program teams to create compelling concept notes and impact updates.

  • Ensure all submissions meet donor standards, timelines, and compliance requirements.

  • Review donor-facing materials such as pitch decks, annual reports, and social media content to strengthen organizational positioning.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Development Studies, or a related field.

  • Experience: * Minimum 9–12 years in fundraising, partnerships, or business development.

    • Proven track record of closing high-value grants and managing institutional donors end-to-end.

    • Experience in content development and campaign-oriented outreach is preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication for developing compelling proposals.

    • Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills for prospect cultivation.

    • Proficiency in managing complex fundraising cycles and meeting strict deadlines.

  • Abilities:

    • Collaborative mindset with the ability to function effectively in a dynamic environment.

    • Strong attention to detail and planning capabilities.

    • Willingness to travel for donor meetings and conferences as required.
