About the role:

As Manager, Talent, you will be the architect of the systems and experiences that allow our growing team to thrive. You will own the end-to-end talent lifecycle—from the first touchpoint with a candidate to performance management, policy design, and culture building. This is a high-exposure role that offers hands-on experience in every facet of People Operations in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hiring & Onboarding

  • Pipeline Building: Maintain a continuous pulse on the talent market, cultivating a strong pipeline of high-potential candidates across all levels.
  • Process Excellence: Lead the execution of our hiring process, ensuring a seamless, respectful, and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Effective Integration: Manage the 3-month onboarding journey (SOP), ensuring every new joiner feels supported, informed, and ready to contribute from Day 1.

2. Policies, Processes & Systems

  • System Design: Build and maintain scalable systems and documentation to support our expanding team.
  • Policy Development: Research and draft modern HR policies, frameworks, and toolkits that reflect our values.
  • Compliance & Tech: Oversee the implementation and optimization of an HRMS and other tech tools to automate and improve people processes.

3. Performance & Culture

  • Growth Management: Facilitate the annual performance cycle, including goal setting, progress tracking, and manager-led evaluations.
  • Culture Stewardship: Model The org values and design structures (both formal and informal) that foster connection, alignment, and a sense of belonging.
  • Employee Experience: Conduct regular check-ins to support individual success and plan team-wide events, including retreats and strategic "stepbacks."

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven Track Record: At least 3 years of experience in an outcome-driven role. Prior experience in HR/Talent is a significant advantage.
  • Execution Power: Strong project management skills with the ability to take a concept and turn it into a functioning reality.
  • Meticulous Organizer: High attention to detail and excellent organizational habits.
  • Communication: Clear, empathetic, and effective communicator.
  • Problem Solver: Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to stay calm and solution-oriented during conflicts or escalations.
  • Values-Driven: High integrity, a genuine interest in helping others succeed, and alignment with the org core mission.
