About the Role:
This position is for a Programme Lead who will oversee the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) program. The role is based in Navi Mumbai, within the Education Department of a large foundation dedicated to inclusive development.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Lead Programme for FLN, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the development and leading the overall FLN program strategy and operations.
- Leading the FLN program development, management, and execution of existing and new programs, providing sector-specific inputs to maximize impact on the ground.
- Managing partnerships related to FLN, liaising with national and international partners to implement large-scale programs that improve learning outcomes for children at the bottom of the pyramid.
- Contributing to FLN program design and implementation, including providing inputs on outcome metrics, performance management systems, and collaboration plans (e.g., with government and/or NGOs).
- Acting as a liaison and managing relationships with any technical implementation partners.
- Working with senior stakeholders across the organization to leverage its expertise in the FLN education space, bringing insights and best practices into the programs.
Personal Qualifications and Experience:
- Must Haves / Essential:
- Post Graduate Degree in any field related to the development sector.
- Minimum 10 years of social sector experience.
- Experience in implementing large-scale development projects.
- Thorough knowledge of the social sector and specialist expertise in the education space in India.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Preferred:
- Experience with managing large-scale education programs.
- International experience.
