About the role:

The Senior Specialist - Solutioning will serve as the primary expert and mentor in the field, translating the program's strategic goals into actionable business solutions for nano-entrepreneurs. This role requires extensive field presence, deep empathy, and a strong problem-solving mindset to ensure solutions are adapted, owned, and sustained by the entrepreneurs.

Key Responsibilities:

Solutioning & Field Execution:

  • Primary Contact: Serve as the main point of contact for the field implementation team regarding all matters of business solutioning.
  • Deep Contextual Understanding: Spend significant time on the field with nano-entrepreneurs to understand their context, specific business needs, and aspirations.
  • Mentorship & Adaptation: Mentor rural entrepreneurs across MP zones, enabling them to actively participate in idea trials, adapt, and ultimately own the implemented solutions for long-term sustainability.
  • Market Linkage: Spend time analyzing local and regional markets to identify high-demand items for rural areas.
  • Network Building: Actively build and activate critical market connections and raw material sourcing connections for entrepreneurs.
  • Resource Management: Effectively manage the training and idea trial budget to maximize program reach and impact.

Candidate Requirements:

Professional Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Over 6 years of work experience, with a minimum of 3 years in rural development initiatives or as an entrepreneur.
  • Entrepreneurial Background: Past experience as an entrepreneur is highly preferred.
  • Language: Proficiency in Hindi (both spoken and written) is mandatory.

  • Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to build trust in rural communities.
  • Empathy & Collaboration: Genuine empathy and an ability to work effectively with both field teams and the rural community members.
  • Mindset: Possesses a strong problem-solving and execution mindset.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently to rural locations in Madhya Pradesh.
