About the Role
We are seeking a Specialist for Multilingual Education (MLE) to take overall responsibility for field implementation projects in academics. This role is central to designing and developing Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) Teaching-Learning Materials (TLM), facilitating professional development, and ensuring the effective monitoring and evaluation of programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Field Implementation: Lead the design of FLN TLM tailored to specific project needs and execute plans for the continuous professional development of District and Block resource groups.
- Capacity Building: Create workshop designs and facilitation modules for teachers and academic leadership, ensuring effective onsite support through Academic Resource Persons (ARPs).
- Planning & Review: Develop detailed activity plans for various implementation models and conduct regular reviews with District Managers to track progress and process documentation.
- Monitoring & Data Management: Manage and interpret data for all periodic and third-party assessments, maintaining updated records of enrollment and school monitoring formats.
- Reporting: Present analytical findings to stakeholders and provide regular program activity reports to the State Manager.
Required Skills & Experience
- Education: Master's degree in Education, Linguistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Technical Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the education sector, specifically in multilingual education or foundational literacy and numeracy programs.
- Content Development: Proven track record in designing educational materials, training modules, and professional development initiatives.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in managing data, performing detailed analysis, and using MS Office (especially Excel) for reporting.
- Leadership: Strong organizational, team management, and interpersonal skills with an ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
- Preferred: Experience working with government education departments or non-profit organizations.
