Role Overview:

The Manager of Corporate Relations is responsible for building and managing strategic relationships with corporate partners to drive business development and long-term collaboration for the firm's social consulting and impact advisory work. The role focuses on originating opportunities, nurturing corporate accounts, and converting partnerships into high-impact consulting engagements aligned with CSR and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Corporate Engagement & Relationship Management

    • Identify and develop opportunities across sectors like CSR advisory and Corporate Volunteering.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned corporate accounts.

    • Align corporate priorities with the firm's social and advisory capabilities.

  2. Business Development & Opportunity Origination

    • Identify, qualify, and develop consulting and advisory opportunities with partners.

    • Support the design of solutions addressing CSR, social impact, and compliance requirements.

    • Maintain and grow a healthy pipeline of corporate-led opportunities.

  3. Proposal Development & Deal Support

    • Lead and contribute to proposal development, including concept notes, technical inputs, budgeting, and presentations.

    • Coordinate with internal teams to develop client-relevant solutions.

    • Support negotiations, contracting, and partnership formalization.

  4. Account Growth & Retention

    • Strengthen long-term partnerships through proactive engagement and delivery alignment.

    • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing relationships.

    • Ensure a smooth transition from business development to service delivery.

  5. Market Intelligence & Positioning

    • Track trends in CSR, sustainability, and corporate social investment.

    • Monitor regulatory developments and funding priorities.

  6. Internal Coordination & Reporting

    • Collaborate with program teams to align proposals with execution capabilities.

    • Maintain CRM systems and prepare revenue and engagement reports.

Qualifications & Experiences:

  • Experience: 4–7 years in corporate relations, business development, partnerships, or consulting.

  • Education: A Master's degree in Management, Social Sciences, or related fields is preferred.

  • Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of the CSR ecosystem in India, Corporate Volunteering, sustainability, or social impact initiatives.
