Role Overview:
The Senior Coordinator - Training & Capacity Building is the primary driver of on-the-ground learning. This role ensures that frontline teams, educators, and facilitators are genuinely equipped and supported in their practice. The position is a blend of trainer, content developer, field mentor, and learning systems builder.
Key Responsibilities:
Field-Based Capacity Building & Facilitation
- Lead training delivery, mentoring, and learning sessions at the state level to shift how teams think, plan, and facilitate.
- Support the induction of new members to build knowledge of the organizational approach and a sense of purpose.
- Maintain a consistent, trusted presence in districts to provide ongoing support to teams.
Training Quality & Onground Observation
- Observe training delivery across districts and provide structured, constructive feedback.
- Build a culture of reflective practice and rigorously document quality observations.
- Contribute to data collection to track if learning translates into changed practice.
Curriculum & Content Development
- Participate in reviewing and improving materials based on implementation insights and local cultural/linguistic contexts.
- Support high-quality bilingual adaptation and translation of curriculum materials.
- Design digital and blended learning resources (e.g., short-form videos, WhatsApp content, Google Classroom modules).
- Collaborate with partners to ensure content is accessible and suited for low-bandwidth environments.
Coordination & Logistics
- Manage the operational backbone of training, including scheduling, venue readiness, and material kits.
- Coordinate with the Program team to sequence training within program cycles.
- Maintain a version-controlled repository of materials and comprehensively document sessions.
Required Qualifications & Experiences

Experience: 7-9 years in training delivery, capacity building, or content development within the education, mental health, or social impact sectors.

Facilitation Skills: Demonstrated experience facilitating sessions for diverse adult groups, including teachers and field staff.

Communication: Strong written and verbal skills in Hindi, English, and regional languages, including translation and proofreading.

Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and virtual platforms like Zoom.

Logistics & Mindset: Organized and reliable; able to manage multiple workstreams with a growth mindset.

Travel: Willingness and ability to travel regularly to district and field locations within the state.
