What your day-to-day will look like:
Here's what we expect from you in this role:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the consumer retail landscape
- Leverage your existing network while building new, long-term client relationships
- Contribute to the development and execution of Chagall's U.S. growth strategy
- Represent Chagall with professionalism at client meetings, industry events, and presentations
- Understand client needs and deliver customized solutions using Chagall's full range of services (design, fabrication, installation)
- Work closely with internal teamsestimating, design, and project managementto develop proposals and ensure project success
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to adjust strategies as needed
- Keep detailed records of business development activities, pipeline health, and performance versus targets
The profile we're looking for:
You'll be a great fit if you have:
- 8+ years of experience in business development or sales in the commercial millwork and fixtures industry
- A strong network in the retail world, especially in grocery, foodservice, or branded environments
- Familiarity with the design and construction industries
- Proven success in leading client acquisitionfrom prospecting to closing
- A strategic mindset and hands-on approach
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience in estimating (a strong asset)
- Willingness to travel as needed across the U.S.
