Primary Responsibilities
- Architecture Definition: Define detailed IT architecture for information systems and applications within the Customer domain, aligned with business requirements and strategic objectives.
- Solution Design: Design application and integration architecture, including REST/SOAP service definitions, data flow design, and evaluation of alternative solutions.
- Integration & Interoperability: Design integration scenarios between systems (including API, ESB, MQ) ensuring compliance with architectural principles.
- Documentation: Create and maintain architectural documentation according to defined standards (ArchiMate, UML) and tools (Confluence, Enterprise Studio).
- Non-Functional Requirements: Collaborate on defining non-functional requirements (performance, availability, scalability) and on infrastructure and security design with Technology and Security Architects.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present proposed solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences at various management levels.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, IT analysts, ICT architects, and other solution architects to design complex solutions.
- Vendor Management: Communicate with internal and external suppliers during the preparation of detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Implementation Support: Provide consultation and oversight during solution development, deployment across environments, and testing phases.
- Compliance & Governance: Review and approve detailed functional and integration designs to ensure compliance with architectural standards, IT strategy, and technology trends.
- Repository Management: Maintain the architecture repository and solution models using appropriate tools.
Qualifications & Skills
- Language Skills: Excellent oral and written communication in both Slovak and English.
- Technical Expertise:
- Knowledge of architectural and security standards.
- Experience designing SOAP/REST/MQ services and integration solutions.
- Familiarity with API management and microservices architecture is an advantage.
- Domain Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of the Customer domain (onboarding, KYC, risk profiling, GDPR, FATCA).
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, preferably in banking or other highly regulated sectors.
- Soft Skills:
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and learning new technologies quickly.
- Flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Proactive, positive mindset with strong communication skills.
- Tools & Standards:
- Experience with architecture modeling tools (e.g., Sparx EA, Enterprise Studio BizzDesign) and familiarity with methodologies (TOGAF, SAFe).
