Head of Information Security – FinTech (GCC)

A high-growth FinTech organisation in the GCC is seeking a Head of Information Security to lead and evolve its security capability across a complex, multi-market environment.

The successful candidate will bring 10+ years experience in information security, cybersecurity, or technology risk, with strong exposure to financial services or fintech. You will have proven experience defining and operating information security strategies, balancing central governance with the needs of distributed teams.

This role requires a strong background in security-by-design within modern product and engineering environments, including agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and cloud-native architectures. Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or equivalent) is essential, covering IAM, network security, encryption, logging, and monitoring.

You will lead security governance frameworks, including policies, standards, risk management, and control testing, with experience supporting ISO 27001 implementation and audits. The role also covers security incident management, third-party and supplier security risk, and executive-level communication.

You will build and lead a lean, high-impact security team, working closely with product, engineering, architecture, and platform stakeholders.
A Bachelors degree in a relevant field is required, with professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 preferred.
