Position Overview:

Antigua Construction is experiencing accelerated growth and is seeking a highly capable Industrial Engineer to work directly with the CEO (women) to structure and improve the companys internal operations. This strategic role is designed for a process-oriented professional who will develop and optimize administrative systems, improve coordination between departments, and establish scalable workflows that support the companys expansion.

The selected candidate will lead the standardization of operational procedures, including those tied to administrative support, internal controls, and cross-departmental communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement standardized administrative processes such as project documentation, procurement tracking, billing coordination, and reporting workflows
  • Analyze the companys internal administrative structure and propose system improvements to eliminate inefficiencies and redundancies
  • Develop operational dashboards and performance metrics to track timelines, accountability, and project health
  • Structure internal communication systems between operations, finance, procurement, and management
  • Implement tools (Excel-based templates, dashboards, project tracking software) to organize and monitor administrative tasks
  • Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for recurring administrative functions across teams
  • Identify inefficiencies in administrative support areas and propose engineering-based solutions to optimize flow and resource use
  • Lead internal initiatives to improve workflow structure and ensure alignment with executive priorities

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering
  • 36 years of experience in process design, administrative systems, or operations management (experience in construction or service industries preferred)
  • Strong understanding of administrative processes from a systems and efficiency perspective
  • Proven ability to structure and improve cross-functional workflows using engineering principles
  • Proficiency in Excel and workflow tools such as Monday.com, Asana, Trello, or similar
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Bilingual (EnglishSpanish) preferred
