 Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer with a strong administrative background to support the Director and project teams across civil and residential construction projects. This role suits someone who understands civil works on site and can also manage the day to day administrative and coordination tasks that keep projects moving.


Salary Range: PHP 25,000 - 35,000
Work Set-Up: Work onsite | Mon-Fri | 6am - 3pm

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Directors inbox. Triage emails, flag priorities, draft clear replies, and keep the Director informed.
  • Read, interpret, and review civil, structural, and residential construction drawings.
  • Assist with coordination of civil works including earthworks, drainage, services, and roadworks.
  • Assist with coordination of residential construction works, including contractors, trades, and materials.
  • Track project approvals, inspections, variations, and payment milestones across civil and residential projects.
  • Coordinate communication between engineers, surveyors, consultants, suppliers, site teams, and the Director.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date project documentation, including drawings, approvals, variations, and correspondence.
  • Handle general administrative tasks including scheduling, reminders, meeting coordination, and follow ups.
  • Support accounts processes by reviewing invoices, progress claims, and variations for accuracy and correct job allocation before forwarding to accounts.
  • Respond to client, consultant, and authority enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with preparation of technical documents, reports, and project records.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in the civil and or residential construction industry.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and residential construction plans.
  • Solid understanding of civil works, residential construction processes, and project sequencing.
  • Strong knowledge of trade scopes, progress claims, variations, and construction documentation.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Clear and confident written communication, particularly professional email drafting.
  • Proven experience using Xero for accounts payable and receivable.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and cost control.
  • Experience using construction project management software, preferably Buildxact.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow tasks through to completion.
  • Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working closely with senior management.
