As a CAD Drafter responsible for preparing accurate window, door, and glazing shop drawings by interpreting floor plans, window schedules, and system specifications. They produce IFA/IFC-ready drawings aligned with the approved sample format and ensure all details are suitable for fabrication and installation. They also coordinate revisions and flag any discrepancies for clarification.



Salary Range: 30,000 - 35,000

Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret architectural floor plans, window schedules, elevations, and glazing details.
• Prepare accurate shop drawings for windows, doors, and internal glazing systems based on provided specifications.
• Support ongoing work by consistently producing shop drawings for future projects as required.
• Interpret architectural, engineering, and site plans to accurately translate designs into technical drawings.
• Coordinate closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and constructability.
• Develop detailed drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and construction details suitable for IFA / IFC submission.
• Perform basic calculations related to layouts, dimensions, and spatial requirements.
• Identify and flag any discrepancies, missing information, or coordination issues within the drawings.
• Assist with design reviews and implement revisions based on feedback.
• Maintain proper drawing control, versioning, and document management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture, Drafting, or equivalent
• 1 -2 years experience as a CAD Drafter or similar role.
• Background in architectural, construction, or glazing drafting is preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing detailed window, door, and glazing shop drawings
• Experience with aluminium window and door systems and internal glazing details
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with minimal supervision.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong work ethic
