Q201556: Product Design Engineer
Job Description:
We are looking for a Product Development Engineer to assist with product development and design improvements. Candidates with a Structural Engineering background would be ideal.
Salary Range: 30,000 - 40,000
Work Set-Up: Work onsite | Mon-Fri | 6am - 3pm
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and improvement of existing products
- Create and refine engineering designs, drawings, and specifications
- Evaluate product performance, durability, and manufacturability
- Collaborate with production, operations, and design teams
- Conduct engineering analysis and recommend design enhancements
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation processes
- Identify cost reduction and efficiency improvement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety requirements
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
- Experience in product development or product design engineering in the HVAC industry
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, Fusion 360, or similar)
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with prototyping and testing is an advantage
- Strong communication, collaboration, and attention to detail
