The Drafter will create or check technical drawings and designs for projects by computer-aided design. He or she has strong computer skills and knowledge in using design software. He or she has excellent numerical and analytical skills.

Salary Range: 30,000 - 40,000
Work Set-Up: Work onsite | Mon-Fri | 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities:

• Follow specifications and calculations to create various designs and technical drawings.
• Prepare detailed designs and technical drawings in 2D and 3D.
• Perform calculations for materials and weight limitations.
• Communicate with engineers and incorporate knowledge into designs.
• Prepare and review alongside the engineering team.
• Ensure final designs are compliant with regulations and standards.
• Identify and communicate potential design problems to the rest of the team.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

• Experience as a CAD Drafter or similar role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Tekla.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and can work with less supervision.
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
