Q201403: Contract Administrator

Ensuring that a construction contract between the client and the contractor is executed in accordance with the terms of the contract, the tender stage, and the post-construction stage. This role is to work across both residential and commercial construction projects.

Salary Range: 30,000-40,000
Work Set-Up: Work onsite | Mon-Fri | 6am - 3pm

Responsibilities:

• Procurement schedule
• Contract management and negotiations
• Letting of contracts and scope of works
• Managing contractual risks - WHS, QA, budgets, and schedules
• Processing claims and variations
• Cost control and cost reports
• Maintain documentation, data registers, and systems

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, or Bachelor of Science in Architecture
• Assist in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and other documentation
• 2 - 3 years of experience with local/International residential and commercial construction companies in a Contracts Administrator role
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the building and construction process
• Strong time management skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
