Salary Range: 30,000 - 35,000
Work Set-Up: Work onsite | Mon-Fri | 8am - 5apm

Responsibilities:

  • Convert UI/UX mockups into fully functional themes, pages, and reusable Gutenberg/ACF blocks.
  • Build and integrate plugins, widgets, APIs (REST/JSON), and third-party services as required.
  • Maintain a clean Git workflow, comprehensive inline documentation, and clearly commented commits.
  • Optimize frontend performance (loading, responsiveness, Core WebVitals) through efficient HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Monitor analytics, broken links, log files, and security alerts; patch vulnerabilities and coordinate backups.
  • Conduct cross-browser / device testing, implement accessibility (WCAG2.2) fixes, and validate structured data.
  • Stay fluent in and upskill the team on HTML5, CSS3/Sass, JavaScript (ES6+), PHP, MySQL, and WordPress internals.
  • Provide post-launch maintenance, feature enhancements, and occasional client training sessions.
  • Perform other related tasks and special projects as directed by the immediate superior, remaining flexible to daily priorities.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years building custom WordPress themes or plugins in a professional environment.
  • Strong command of HTML, CSS/Sass, PHP, MySQL, REST API, JSON; familiarity with modern JS frameworks is a plus.
  • Comfortable using Git, package managers (npm, Composer), and task runners (Webpack/Vite).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate design systems into responsive, accessible sites.
  • Solid understanding of web security, SEO fundamentals, and performance optimization.
  • Meticulous, self-directed, and able to juggle multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with cross-disciplinary teams and occasionally with clients.
