Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) In-Home Care
Schedule: Part-time or Full-time (Flexible shifts available)
Compensation: $18/hour Paid weekly

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one in-home care for an elderly woman in her 90s living with dementia. The ideal caregiver is patient, attentive, safety-focused, and experienced in memory-care support.

You will be providing daily assistance, companionship, and hands-on personal care in a calm, respectful home environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  
  

• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall-prevention
  
  

• Monitor and document any changes in condition or behavior
  
  

• Support dementia-friendly routines and redirection techniques
  
  

• Prepare light meals and ensure proper hydration
  
  

• Medication reminders
  
  

• Light housekeeping related to the client (laundry, tidying, changing linens)
  
  

• Offer companionship, engagement, and emotional support
  
  

• Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified care environment
  
  

• Communicate regularly with family regarding updates or concerns

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license (required)
  
  

• Minimum 2+ years of caregiving experience, preferably with dementia patients
  
  

• Experience with in-home care and working independently
  
  

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
  
  

• Reliable transportation
  
  

• Strong communication and patience with memory-impaired clients
  
  

• Ability to lift/move 50+ lbs (for transfers/mobility assistance)
