Job Title: Workday Data Conversion Consultant

Overview

The Workday Data Conversion Consultant will be responsible for supporting the Data Conversion Lead

and the execution of the data conversion program.

You will be working on a team of data conversion programming specialists and will be responsible for

supporting the data conversion effort for a Workday implementation for an academic medical center

and research institution.

You will work to convert legacy data to the Workday object model in the areas of Learning, HCM and

Payroll, Finance, and Research. Supply Chain and other related systems.

This role involves collaborating with stakeholders across multiple business and technical disciplines to

develop and execute a comprehensive data conversion strategy.

This role will work directly with a Workday Data Conversion Lead to ensure the successful delivery of

the Workday suite of applications.

What You Bring to the Role:

• 2-5 years of Workday experience in data conversion for a clinical healthcare provider, medical center, academic medical center, or higher education is required.
• Expertise in Lawson data and Workday data structures
• Expert programming skills in a common scripting programming language and/or ETL tool.
• Demonstrable successful Workday ERP implementation project and optimization experience as a data conversion lead.
• Experience with Workday implementation and data conversion methodologies
• Experience with data conversion automation tools and frameworks.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate and manage in a matrix organization with multiple business partners and IT
• teams.

What You'll Do:

• Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of mapping values, and transformation rules, from the legacy system to Workday's object in the system integrator (Workday partner) preferred format.
• Develop automated scripts or use data transformation software tools for the extract, transform, and load process that streamlines up to four (4) tenant builds.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously improve and resolve data quality issues between loads to ensure a quality data conversion process.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of data conversion processes, mapping specifications, and test results.
• Provide regular status reports 
• Support the data lead-in gathering workbooks that are shared with the SI data conversion team via the agreed secure transfer method
• Support the development and execute the catch-up transaction process for payroll parallel and go live tenant builds
• Responsible for ensuring the security of personal identification and other sensitive information following security policy and procedures.
• Assists with data validation report mapping.
• Support the archiving strategic process for the retention of legacy data.

Compensation Information

The expected salary range for this position is $50/hr to 80/hr, depending on experience and qualifications. This

role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. TalentFish is
