Role summary
Seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join the Los Angeles office. The role involves managing employment litigation matters, advising on traditional labor law issues, and providing employment counseling to top-tier clients.
Responsibilities
Handle and manage employment litigation matters and administrative charges
Prepare and argue dispositive motions
Take and defend depositions in employment litigation cases
Provide day-to-day employment counseling to clients
Draft, review, and analyze employment agreements, handbooks, severance agreements, and related documents
Support other firm matters as needed
Must-have qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active admission to the California Bar
Minimum 3 years of recent experience in employment litigation at a major law firm
Direct experience in employment counseling and conventional labor matters
Exceptional legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications
Law Review or Moot Court accolades
Experience managing complex employment cases
Strong client communication and relationship-building skills
