About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager to oversee hospitality operations across multiple healthcare facilities in Riyadh, with operational support for facilities in Makkah and Jeddah as required.
The role will be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient experience, housekeeping, hygiene, comfort, hospitality services, QHSE, and operational excellence across healthcare facilities.
The successful candidate will lead hospitality teams, manage external service providers, monitor KPIs, support hospital openings, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
Safety, Hygiene & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with healthcare hygiene, infection prevention, HSE, and patient safety standards.
- Implement and monitor safety policies and procedures across healthcare facilities.
- Conduct and participate in safety audits, inspections, evacuation drills, and crisis management exercises.
- Identify and escalate risks affecting patients, visitors, or employees.
- Ensure hospitality teams follow appropriate HSE and safety practices.
Quality & Operational Excellence
- Implement and maintain consistent hospitality and quality standards across healthcare facilities.
- Ensure compliance with QHSE requirements and applicable local regulations.
- Participate in hospital accreditation and quality audit activities.
- Monitor hospitality KPIs and patient satisfaction indicators.
- Develop and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote a culture of service excellence and operational efficiency.
Hospitality & Patient Experience
- Oversee hospitality operations across hospitals in Riyadh.
- Standardize hospitality procedures, service standards, and operational practices.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping across patient, clinical, public, and administrative areas.
- Oversee linen management, guest amenities, housekeeping supplies, and hospitality consumables.
- Ensure a comfortable, welcoming, and premium environment for patients and visitors.
- Coordinate closely with hospital management, nursing, medical, and support departments.
- Manage and evaluate external hospitality and facility service contractors.
- Conduct regular operational inspections and audits.
- Review patient feedback and implement initiatives to improve patient satisfaction.
- Support new hospital openings and ensure operational readiness of hospitality services.
- Contribute to budgeting and cost optimization initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop hospitality teams through training and performance management.
- Prepare regular operational and KPI reports for senior management.
Leadership & Team Management
- Manage Hospitality Supervisors and housekeeping teams.
- Lead multicultural teams and ensure effective workforce planning.
- Monitor employee performance and identify training and development needs.
- Ensure appropriate management of female staff accommodation where required.
- Maintain effective communication with hospital management and operational stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Facility Management, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.
Experience
- 6–10+ years of experience in hospitality management.
- Experience within healthcare organizations, hospitals, medical centers, or large hospitality operations is highly preferred.
- Proven experience managing multi-site operations and regional hospitality activities.
- Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is highly preferred.
- Experience managing housekeeping, soft services, contractors, and multicultural teams.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of hospitality operations and patient experience standards.
- Good understanding of QHSE, infection prevention, healthcare hygiene, and accreditation requirements.
- Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in KPI monitoring, operational reporting, and performance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple healthcare facilities and stakeholders effectively.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
- French language skills would be an advantage.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel between healthcare facilities within Riyadh.
- Willingness to travel to Makkah and Jeddah when required.
- Ability to oversee and manage female staff accommodation.
- Open to candidates of any nationality.
