Senior AI Video Editor

The Senior AI Video Editor & Creative Technologist is a strategic, senior-level role responsible for driving AI-led video production across all GUS institutions. This role goes beyond traditional editing and focuses on scaling video output through AI technologies, improving realism, efficiency, and performance while maintaining brand and storytelling excellence

The role acts as a centre of excellence for AI video, leading experimentation, implementation, and team enablement across platforms such as HeyGen, Flow, Veo3, and Nana Banana 3. The position partners closely with marketing, brand, and campaign teams to deliver high-impact, AI-powered video campaigns at scale.


Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, AI-enhanced video content by transforming briefs, scripts, and concepts into polished short- and long-form videos using a hybrid of traditional editing and AI-generated workflows, ensuring storytelling quality, realism, and brand consistency across all institutions.
• Drive the generation and continuous improvement of HeyGen AI avatars by developing advanced prompting, scripting, voice, pacing, and visual optimisation techniques to achieve highly human-like, on-brand results suitable for marketing, recruitment, and institutional communications.
• Lead the execution of marketing and recruitment campaigns using Flow, Veo3, Nana Banana 3, and similar AI video platforms by designing repeatable workflows that enable scalable, multi-market video production while maintaining performance, compliance, and creative quality. 
• Own expert-level AI post-production workflows by applying advanced prompting, scripting, narrative structuring, scene continuity, and AI-assisted editing techniques to elevate storytelling, pacing, and emotional impact across all video outputs.
• Act as a central driver for AI video implementation across all institutions by creating scalable templates, playbooks, and workflows that enable consistent delivery of video content across brands, markets, and channels.

To qualify: 


• 5+ years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics, with a portfolio showcasing a range of short and long-form content generated with use of AI tools
• Experience creating social media video content and advertisements.
• Expert-level experience with AI video platforms, including HeyGen, Flow, Veo3, Nana Banana 3 (or comparable tools)
• Advanced knowledge of AI prompting, scripting, and narrative control
• Strong post-production expertise (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent)
• Deep understanding of video formats, codecs, and platform optimisation
• Experience combining traditional editing with AI-generated content
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation tools such as Adobe After Effects.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of professional video assets.
• Experience in creating lead-generating materials and optimizing designs for global markets.
• Skilled in project management and meeting tight deadlines without compromising technical or creative quality.
  
  

Work Arrangement

• Work Schedule, 8AM UK time - 4:00PM to 1:00AM, weekends off
• Remote work with occasional visits in the office
• Robinsons Zeta Tower, C5 Road, Ugong Norte, Quezon City. Office is beside Opus Mall. Area is accessible from Eastwood, Ortigas CBD, C5 Road, and Rizal areas.
