The successful applicant will be responsible for working with the business to enable and improve individual and Company performance, aligned with the strategic direction, vision and values of the Company. The L&D Specialist will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of local to global L&D content within GUS and associated delivery mechanisms. Experience with designing and delivering eLearning content is essential.

Responsibilities:

The Learning & Development Specialist will be responsible for the design and creation of engaging and effective content, including digital learning, as part of our overall L&D offering.

  • Design, develop and manage high quality L&D content to be used within GUS Philippines and the wider Global L&D offering, working under the guidance of the Head of Corporate Services.
  • Create fit for purpose, "bite-sized" Learning content within short timeframes, which can be used within the Company's wider L&D offering.
  • Maintain and update existing sessions, courses and programmes to ensure the content remains up to date.
  • When requests are received from the business, work with the Senior Manager to conduct training needs analysis to identify capability gaps and L&D interventions needed.
  • Work with external training providers and internal SMEs to develop learning and development programmes and modules that support business needs, developing effective working relationships with both external training providers and internal SMEs.
  • Act in a consultative capacity to provide best practice L&D advice and guidance across the Company, working with different teams in the business to design key learning interventions as required.
  • Work independently on projects as the lead L&D Specialist, providing advice and support to other teams/units in the business, under the guidance of the Head of Corporate Services.
  • Deliver programme content/sessions as and when required.

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum 5 years' L&D experience, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • Excellent design skills, with experience developing a wide range of content to achieve successful face to face and blended learning outcomes.
  • Strong eLearning/digital design skills using a range of eLearning authoring tools, video capturing tools, content editing tools etc;
  • Experience producing L&D content within a fast paced, professional services environment.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach, who can work unsupervised, demonstrating initiative, creativity, professionalism and ability to think outside the box.
  • Excellent communication skills, presentation skills, and facilitation skills


Work Arrangement

  • Hybrid work arrangement
  • Work Location: Robinsons Zeta Tower, C5 Road, Bridgetowne, Ugong Norte, Quezon City. Office is accessible from C5 Road, Rizal areas, Eastwood, and Ortigas CBD
  • Work Schedule: 3pm to 12am, Monday to Friday
  • Internet Connection, 15mbps and up
