Validation Engineer Specialist

Job Mission

Ensure robust validation for new projects to Brazilian market, attending program needs and key project milestones.

As a team, contribute to define and clarify the validation processes aligned with headquarters, generate engineering solutions, reports and develop team members.

Main Responsibilities

Define and document specific validation routes over the country for different vehicles and attributes (Suspension, brakes, ADAS, 4x4, multimedia, etc.)

Provide engineering solutions for issues observed during validation trips and fine tuning for product quality improvement

Generate proper engineering reports for validations and tests

Lead the technical plan and necessary vehicle preparation for validation and benchmark tests

Support the headquarters with data and benchmark research about the market and environmental characteristics

Support homologation team with vehicle mileage accumulation and parts confirmation

Keep vehicle fleet documentation and maintenance on track

Develop and train coworkers

Keep safety procedures updated

Required

Bachelors degree or above in vehicle engineering, mechanical, electrical, automotive design or related fields

More than 8 years experience in vehicle validation, vehicle dynamics, product development or related work experience

Strong background on vehicle performance evaluation, dynamic, braking, steering, NVH, ADAS, etc.

Strong Knowledge on tear down and benchmark

Teamwork player and good communication skills

Availability for trips

Familiar with dynamic test procedures and equipment

Fluent English

CNH type B is mandatory. CNH type D is a plus

Strong knowledge in MS Office
