Physical Therapist

Hands of Hope Physical Therapy & Wellness, is looking to hire a Physical Therapist to join our team!

At Hands of Hope Physical Therapy & Wellness, Physical Therapists will develop individual treatment plans for patients to assist in their long-term recovery. To be successful in this role you must be knowledgeable in evaluation and treatment practices, up to date on current clinical research to get our patients better faster!

Qualifications

To qualify you must have a Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy

New York State Physical Therapy License

Good Communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Licenses: Physical Therapist License-NYS

Masters Degree in Physical Therapy or related field(Preferred)

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

1.Provide engaging, one-on-one care with patient evaluations

2. Selects appropriate assessment tools and methods in order to accurately determine the patient's status for developing optimal treatment plan

3. Demonstrates effective clinical decision making and implements changes/adaptations to the Treatment Plan when appropriate

4. Implements Treatment Plans and Protocol according to current professional and health system standards

5. Perform direct patient care, including evaluation of muscle, skeletal, neurological and other physical problems

6. Support and encourage multidisciplinary coordination of treatment

7. Ensure proper documentation of patient care

8. Plan, design, implement and interpret specific occupational therapy treatment programs for patients to facilitate the patient's recovery and attainment of maximum physical potential

9. Establishes achievable and appropriate treatment goals with patient and family

10. Maintain professional relationships with all employees and adhering to company policies 

11. Support marketing initiatives by attending marketing and outreach events as requested
