Part-Time Nanny

Location: Alderley Edge, Cheshire

Salary: £18 gross per hour 

Hours: 7am-9am & 4pm-8pm 5 days per week 30 hours per week.

More hours will be available in the school holidays.

Start date- as soon as possible

Happy Nest Nanny Agency is currently seeking a nurturing and experienced nanny to join a lovely family in Alderley Edge, Cheshire. As a full-time nanny, you will be responsible for the care and well-being of a young child (3 years old) and an older child (8 years old). This is an excellent opportunity to work with happy and well-rounded children who love outdoor activities, creativity, and learning opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Assisting the children in getting ready for school and bed

Engaging with the children through interactive and educational activities

Providing childcare and ensuring the children's safety and happiness

Occasional overnight stays with prior notice

Working occasional bank holidays with prior notice

Bathing, dressing, and preparing nutritious meals for the children

Taking care of washing, ironing, and organising the children's clothes

General organising of the children's belongings

Ensuring cleanliness and safety of toys

Keeping play areas tidy

Encouraging the children's development through play and stimulating activities such as creative arts and crafts, singing, reading, and other learning opportunities

The family has a housekeeper, allowing you to focus solely on the children's well-being and development. The children enjoy outdoor activities like playing with bubbles in the garden and going for nice alks. It is important to the family that you encourage these interests while providing additional stimulating and engaging activities to enhance their overall development.

Requirements:

Fluent in English

Within a 40-minute drive to Alderley Edge (SK10)

Previous nanny/childcare experience with excellent checkable references

Possess a current enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake one

Capable of working in a sole charge capacity

Possess a happy and smiley disposition

Extremely honest, trustworthy, and able to sign an NDA agreement

Loyal and discreet

Must be a driver with a full clean licence

Able to commit 100 percent to the long-term role

Happy around animals as the family have a cat.
