Maternity Nurse Nights Only in Knaresborough

A family from the beautiful town of Knaresborough , North Yorkshire are welcoming their first child in early June 2024 and are searching for an experienced maternity nurse to join them 2 nights per week.

Mum and dad are keen to enlist the support of a local maternity nurse who will be able to assist 2 times per week with night support for 2/3 months to ensure they are well rested.

You will be on hand to guide and support them with all aspects of newborn baby care .

Duties include - Feeding, sterilising and prepping feeds, changing nappies, settling the baby down to sleep after feeds.

The ideal maternity nurse is someone with plenty of newborn experience who is qualified with a relevant post-natal certificate such as MNT, NEST, Babyem etc, and who is naturally very caring to support the family during this special time and help to establish a routine as the role progresses.

Salary

£20-22 gross per hour depending on experience

Hours

2 nights per week ideally Tuesday & Friday (between 9pm -7am 10 hours per night).

Requirements...

• Fully enhanced DBS (criminal record) check. Agency will assist

• Paediatric first aid

• Excellent checkable references

• Previous experience working as a private maternity nurse

• Relevant qualification or certificate, eg NEST, MNT, BabyEm, HATA, Midwifery etc.
