The Challenge

Our company is undergoing a major digital transformation, and were bringing our development work in-house. To make this happen, were looking for a Development Engineering Manager to lead the charge, build the team, and drive innovation.

Our game plan:

1️ Hire a Senior Engineer / Development Lead (this could be YOU )
2️ Recruit a strong team of developers to enhance our internal tech capabilities

Youll be working in a dynamic, collaborative environment where each day starts with a morning coffee and a daily dev call. Then, its time for sprint planning and hands-on coding on sports tech projects for world-class clients, including:

UCI (International Cycling Union)
FIBA (International Basketball Federation)
UEFA
and many more!

Your work will involve developing web applications, internal information systems, and AI-driven solutions while having access to certifications and training from NVIDIA, Azure, AWS, and other top-tier tech partners.

Your Mission

Lead the design, development, and delivery of high-impact digital solutions.
Act as a technical expert, engaging with clients to understand their needs and recommend the best solutions.

Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and key stakeholders to define and execute projects.

Be hands-on when neededcoding, reviewing, and ensuring best practices.
Continuously improve the developer experience and engineering processes.
Design scalable, high-performance, and secure software architectures.
Provide mentorship and leadership to a growing team of engineers.
Take on solution architecture responsibilities, designing systems that align with business objectives.

Work in a hybrid setup, with two office days per week in Riga and occasional travel to London and other EMEA locations.

️ What You Bring to the Team

3+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of designing and delivering quality digital solutions.
Strong C# and .NET development skills.

Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
Deep knowledge of software architecture, microservices, and scalable system design.

Experience with DevOps & Platform Engineering, including CI/CD, cloud deployment, and monitoring.

Strong problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic and efficient mindset.
Excellent client-facing and communication skills, able to bridge technical and non-technical discussions.

Familiarity with Azure, Power Automate, API integrations, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, etc.

Professional fluency in English.

Bonus points if you have experience with SaaS, enterprise solutions, business analytics, process automation, or cloud applications!
